Loss & Grief
Walking Away
The day Taylor died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Taylor was my father. We thought it would last forever. I remember their cooking like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Taylor when I visit a train station. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
