Our Commitment to Anonymity

Untolden is built on the principle that every story matters, but the storyteller's identity should be protected. We take your privacy seriously.

What We Collect

When you browse stories: We collect minimal data — page views, language preferences, and basic analytics to improve the platform.

When you write a story: We store the content you submit, the language, category, and any pseudonym you choose. We do not store your IP address with your story.

When you register: We store your username, email address, and a hashed password. You may use a pseudonym as your username.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect your real name, physical address, phone number, or browsing history across other websites. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party trackers.

Your Stories Are Anonymous

Stories you publish under a pseudonym cannot be traced back to your account by other users. We do not link published stories to your email or IP address.

Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Stories published anonymously will be disassociated from your account.
