Loss & Grief
Walking Away
The day Quinn died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Quinn was my mother. We thought it would last forever. I remember their warm hugs like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Quinn when I visit a rooftop. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
