Loss & Grief
Walking Away
The day Wren died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Wren was my sister. We were so young and stupid. I remember their cooking like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Wren when I visit a library. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
