Loss & Grief
Before and After
The day Jordan died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Jordan was my uncle. It changed me forever. I remember the way they said my name like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Jordan when I visit a bookstore. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
