The Snowy Day

I spent 6 years chasing perfection. I worked 18 hours a day. I missed my child's school plays. And then I got laid off. We thought it would last forever. I realized I had been climbing the wrong ladder. Now I I volunteer. It pays less but I sleep better at night.
