Loss & Grief
The Coffee Shop Memory
The day Dakota died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Dakota was my brother. It changed me forever. I remember how they laughed like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Dakota when I visit the park. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
