Loss & Grief
What Taught Me
The day Sam died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Sam was my uncle. It was the best time of my life. I remember their cooking like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Sam when I visit a rooftop. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
