Loss & Grief
The Day Everything Changed
The day Rowan died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Rowan was my father. We thought it would last forever. I remember their cooking like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Rowan when I visit a garden. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
