Loss & Grief
What She Taught Me
The day Harper died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Harper was my sister. We were so young and stupid. I remember the way they said my name like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Harper when I visit a train station. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
