The Sunny Day

I spent 5 years chasing a promotion. I worked 10 hours a day. I missed my child's school plays. And then my child asked me why I work so much. It changed me forever. I realized I had been climbing the wrong ladder. Now I I volunteer. It pays less but I sleep better at night.
