The Last Time

The day Taylor died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Taylor was my father. We were so young and stupid. I remember their warm hugs like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Taylor when I visit a rooftop. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
