Loss & Grief
The Day Everything Changed
The day Sage died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Sage was my sister. I learned so much from that experience. I remember their warm hugs like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Sage when I visit a rooftop. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
