Loss & Grief
What She Taught Me
The day Sage died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Sage was my grandfather. I never felt so alive. I remember their advice like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Sage when I visit a library. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
