Finding Forgiveness

I spent 13 years chasing a promotion. I worked 12 hours a day. I missed family dinners. And then a friend died. We laughed until we cried. I realized I had been climbing the wrong ladder. Now I I spend more time with family. It pays less but I sleep better at night.
