When I Met Quinn

The day Quinn died, the world didn't stop. The sun still rose. Birds still sang. But my world collapsed. Quinn was my uncle. We laughed until we cried. I remember the way they said my name like it was yesterday. Now I talk to Quinn when I visit the park. I know they can't hear me. But saying it out loud makes it feel real. Grief is love with nowhere to go.
